현재 영국에서 가장 왕성한 활동을 보이고 있는 종교 합창음악 지휘자 가운데 한 사람인 스티븐 크레오버리가 킹스 칼리지 합창단과 함께 엄숙한 교회에서 진행하는 캐럴이다. `고요한 밤`등 몇몇 대중적인 명곡들도 들어 있으나 대부분은 영국 본토 교회에서 즐겨 불려지는 차분한 캐럴들이다. 보너스 영상도 푸짐하다. 1954년 킹스캐럴 서비스의 역사적인 45분간의 레코딩도 실려있고, 현재의 크레오버리와 1957년 이래 킹스 칼리지의 지휘자였던 두명의 음악가, 즉 데이비드 윌콕스 경, 필리프 레저 경이 한자리에 모여 않아 대담하는 내용까지 들어 있다.
