지금까지 우리에게 가장 사랑받는 바로크 시대의 오보에 협주곡들을 마르셀 폰젤과 일 가르델리노의 빼어난 앙상블로 감상할 수 있는 음반. 두말이 필요없는 A. 마르첼로의 오보에 협주곡, 바흐의 신포니아 BWV156을 비롯하여 텔레만, 헨델의 오보에 협주곡들이 수록되어 있다. 또한 아스토르 피아졸라의 "망각"이 보너스 트랙에 수록되어 있는데, 바로크 원전 악기로 감상하는 "망각"은 마르첼로 오보에 협주곡 "아다지오"의 정서가 현대로 이어진 듯, 진한 고독과 우수의 감정이 묻어난다. 정말 이색적인 감흥이랄 수밖에 없다.
