Emil Tabakov (*1947) is a Bulgarian conductor, composer, and double bassist. He has written nine symphonies, concertos for orchestra with and without solo instruments, a Requiem based on a Latin text, and chamber music, as well as works for solo instruments. Most of his works have been commissioned by international festivals and established artists. Tabakov's music, in general and especially in this Caprice for solo double bass, is music of movement. It presses forward and is characterized by the composer's brilliant technique with which he manipulates the material, creating thesis and antithesis, as well as highs and lows.

Written as a required piece for the International Johann Matthias Sperger Competition Ludwigslust 2018


에밀 타바코프(*1947)는 불가리아 출신의 지휘자, 작곡가, 더블베이스 연주자입니다. 그는 9곡의 교향곡, 독주 악기가 있는 관현악 협주곡과 독주 악기가 없는 관현악 협주곡, 라틴어 가사를 바탕으로 한 레퀴엠, 실내악, 그리고 독주 악기를 위한 작품을 작곡했습니다. 그의 작품 대부분은 국제 페스티벌과 저명한 예술가들의 위촉을 받았습니다. 타바코프의 음악, 특히 독주 더블베이스를 위한 카프리스는 움직임의 음악입니다. 그의 음악은 끊임없이 발전하며, 작곡가가 소재를 다루는 뛰어난 기교를 통해 정과 반, 그리고 고음과 저음을 만들어내는 것이 특징입니다.
