Debussy's music is a music of resonance. Each sound seems to want to extend infinitely into the space of our memories.


This is the case in the works for piano and for orchestra, but also in Syrinx, for solo flute (1913).

The flute of the God Pan echoes here - twenty years apart - that of the faun. If in the Prelude to “The Afternoon of a Faun” (1892-94), the initial flute solo is continued by the orchestra which amplifies it into a thousand harmonious shimmers, in Syrinx, the flute plays alone of itself, in its own echo.


This is why I wanted to extend it into a mirror with its double reflection. Two other flutes materialize here the implicit resonances of the original work.


Flutists who have played Syrinx will enjoy playing a version with three people where each person feels multiplied – “resonated” – by the other two.


드뷔시의 음악은 공명의 음악이다. 각각의 소리는 우리 기억의 공간으로 무한히 확장되기를 원하는 것 같습니다.


이는 피아노와 관현악을 위한 작품뿐만 아니라 독주 플루트를 위한 Syrinx(1913)의 경우에도 마찬가지입니다.

God Pan의 피리는 20년 간격으로 목신의 피리 소리와 함께 울려 퍼집니다. "The Afternoon of a Faun"(1892-94)의 전주곡에서 첫 번째 플루트 독주가 오케스트라에 의해 계속되어 수천 개의 조화로운 반짝임으로 증폭된다면, Syrinx에서는 플루트가 그 자체의 반향으로 단독으로 연주됩니다. .


그래서 이중 반사를 통해 거울로 확장하고 싶었습니다. 두 개의 다른 플루트가 여기에서 원본 작품의 암묵적인 공명을 구체화합니다.


Syrinx를 연주한 플루티스트들은 세 사람이 함께 연주하는 것을 좋아할 것입니다. 이 버전에서는 각 사람이 다른 두 사람과 함께 배가되는 느낌(“공명”)을 느낍니다.
