Debussy Ariettes oubliees L. 60 for Vocal

Poems by Paul Verlaine. French and English text.

Claude Debussy (1862-1918) composed the six songs he would in 1903 title ARIETTES OUBLIÉES (FORGOTTEN SONGS), L. 60/ CD 63, between 1885 and 1887. Each song is a setting of the poetry of Paul Verlaine, a poet doing with words what Debussy trying to do with music. Two of the songs premiered on February 2, 1889, at the Société nationale de musique in Paris, Maurice Bagès singing with the composer at the piano.

4. Chevaux de Bois;

5. Green (Aquarelle);

6. Spleen (Aquarelle).

클로드 드뷔시(1862-1918)는 1885년에서 1887년 사이에 6곡의 가곡을 작곡했는데, 1903년에 ARIETTES OUBLIÉES(잊혀진 노래), L. 60/ CD 63이라는 제목을 붙였습니다. 각 곡은 폴 베를렌의 시에 곡을 붙인 것으로, 드뷔시가 음악으로 표현하고자 했던 것을 시인은 말로 표현했습니다. 이 중 두 곡은 1889년 2월 2일 파리 국립음악협회에서 초연되었으며, 모리스 바제가 작곡가와 피아노를 치며 노래했습니다.
