Contemporary arrangement for string quartet by Peter Lichtenthal (1780-1853), first edition. For the Milanese doctor and composer Lichtenthal, Mozart's music was the measure of all things. In order to make his music accessible to Italian aficionados, he arranged the string quartet version of the Requiem, which was published here for the first time. Recorded on CD by the ensemble "StringFizz", CD 473 on the ORF1 label.
