Claudio Ferrarini was born in Zurich, where he started his music studies. He then continued studying music all over Europe. His teachers include Moyse, Gazzelloni, Nicolet, Klemm, Schulz, Vegh and Stockhausen.
His discography is made up of more than one hundred CDs for Philips, Universal Music, Warner, Fonit Cetra, Europa Musica, Frequenz, Stradivarius, Ozella Music, Koch, Mondo Musica, CNI, Aulia, and has won important awards from international critics, such as the Globe of the American Records Guide (nine times).
He has sold more than 350,000 CDs, and he is one of the most popular European flutists on iTunes, with 60 CDs.
He is professor of Flute and of the two-year course for the Postgraduate Diploma in Solo Flute at the A. Boito Conservatory of Parma.
