The Piano Trio Op. 150 is Beach's last major chamber music composition. The Piano Trio contains impressionistic harmony; however, it is distinctly tonal. The three movements are based on traditional forms.


피아노 트리오 Op. 150은 비치의 마지막 주요 실내악 작품입니다. 피아노 트리오는 인상주의적 화성을 담고 있지만, 뚜렷한 조성적 특징을 보입니다. 세 악장은 전통적인 형식을 기반으로 합니다.


Less familiar repertoire

This is well worthy studying - not easy but it rewards proper study as it is not easy to sightread. The music is romantic and highly expressive with a wonderful harmonic landscape, French influenced. It is also rewarding to find music by a woman composer of any age but especially late nineteenth/early twentieth century.
