헨델이 영국으로 귀화한 이후 당시의 새로운 왕이었던 조지 2세의 대관식을 위해 작곡한 4곡의 찬가를 비롯해 널리 알려진 `시바 여왕의 도착`이 수록되었다. <더 타임즈>로부터 `천상의 소리`라는 찬사를 받았던 The Sixteen과 지휘자 해리 크리스토퍼스의 지휘로 헨델의 대관식 찬가에서 풍기는 위풍당당함과 장엄함, 축제의 분위기가 생생하게 되살아난다. 오라토이로 <메시아>의 피날레인 `아멘 코르스`가 The Sixteen의 기념비적인 작업의 대미를 장식한다.
