Rustic by Eugène Bozza (1905-1991) is one of the most well-known and enjoyable pieces for trumpet and piano published in 1955. Technically and musically challenging, you must be able to master vibrato and control your instrument.The piano score was initially written for a brass quintet. Eugène Bozza won different prizes at the Conservatoire de Paris such as the First Prizes for the violin, conducting and composition, as well as the Grand Prix de Rome. Hecomposed several operas, chamber works and ballets among others.
