Kapustin Concerto for Eleven Instruments Op.90 (Miniature Score)

Instruments flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn, 2 violins, viola, cello, double bass and piano

This work was written in 1998 for the Bol`shoi Theatre Orchestra as a double quintet - strings and wind - but after composing the first movement Kapustin was asked to add a piano part. The piano, therefore, does not appear until the second movement, and does so with an opening solo. There are three movements - Allegro, Andantino and Allegro molto - and the full performance material is available from the publishers on rental.
