Instrumentale Romanzen sind als Kompositionsgattung spätestens seit den Romanzen für Violine und Orchester (1803) von Ludwig van Beethoven sehr beliebt. Auch Robert Schumann betitelte mehrere seiner Kompositionen mit Romanze, darunter auch die 1851 veröffentlichten Drei Romanzen für Oboe und Klavier op. 94, über deren Einfluss auf die hier vorliegende Komposition aber nur spekuliert werden kann. Die Tatsache jedoch, dass Robert Schumann seinen Romanzen für Oboe den Zusatz "ad libitum Violine" gab oder im Falle seines Adagio und Allegro für Klavier und Horn sogar alternativ Violine oder Cello zuließ, legitimiert die vorliegende Ausgabe.


Für Klarinette gibt es aus der Romantik neben den Fantasie- stücken op. 73 von Robert Schumann zwar noch zahlreiche andere Werke, dennoch dürften diese Drei Romanzen von Clara Schumann eine interessante Erweiterung des Klarinetten- repertoires sein. Da die Literatur für Fagott und Klavier aus der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts indes nur sehr spärlich ist, stellt die vorliegende Ausgabe sicher eine willkommene Berei- cherung dar. In der Fassung für Fagott wurde die Violinstimme um eine Oktave nach unten transponiert. Einige wenige Passagen, bei denen die Geigenstimme mangels tiefen Registers nicht weiter hinabgeführt wird, konnten um zwei Oktaven trans- poniert werden.


기악 로망스는 루트비히 판 베토벤의 바이올린과 관현악을 위한 로망스(1803) 이후 매우 인기 있는 작곡 장르였습니다. 로베르트 슈만은 또한 1851년에 출판된 오보에와 피아노 op.94를 위한 세 개의 로맨스를 포함하여 그의 작곡 중 일부에 로맨스라는 제목을 붙였지만, 우리는 그것이 현재 작곡에 미친 영향에 대해서만 추측할 수 있습니다. 그러나 로베르트 슈만이 오보에를 위한 그의 로망스에 "violin ad libitum"을 추가하거나 피아노와 호른을 위한 그의 Adagio와 Allegro의 경우 바이올린이나 첼로를 대안으로 허용했다는 사실은 현재 버전을 합법화합니다.


로베르트 슈만의 환상곡 op.73 외에도 낭만주의 시대의 클라리넷을 위한 수많은 다른 작품이 있지만 클라라 슈만의 이 세 가지 로맨스는 클라리넷 레퍼토리에 흥미로운 추가가 되어야 합니다. 19세기 전반기의 바순과 피아노에 대한 문헌이 매우 드물기 때문에 현재 버전은 확실히 반가운 추가 사항입니다.바순 버전에서는 바이올린 부분이 한 옥타브 아래로 조옮김되었습니다. 낮은 음역이 부족하여 바이올린 부분이 더 아래로 내려가지 않는 몇 개의 구절은 두 옥타브로 조옮김할 수 있습니다.


Instrumental romances have been a very popular compositional genre since Ludwig van Beethoven's Romances for violin and orchestra (1803) at the latest. Robert Schumann also titled several of his compositions Romance, including the Three Romances for Oboe and Piano op. 94 published in 1851, but we can only speculate about their influence on the present composition. However, the fact that Robert Schumann gave his Romances for oboe the addition "violin ad libitum" or, in the case of his Adagio and Allegro for piano and horn, even allowed violin or cello as an alternative, legitimizes the present edition.


In addition to Robert Schumann's Fantasy Pieces op. 73, there are numerous other works for clarinet from the Romantic era, but these Three Romances by Clara Schumann should be an interesting addition to the clarinet repertoire. Since the literature for bassoon and piano from the first half of the 19th century is very sparse, the present edition is certainly a welcome addition. In the version for bassoon, the violin part has been transposed down an octave. A few passages, in which the violin part is not carried further down due to the lack of a lower register, could be transposed by two octaves.
