reconstruction and expansion, depiciting a growing disparity between
the common people and the royal family.
<b>GEUMGANGSAN TARYEONG</b> 금강산 타령
Geumgangsan is a mountain located in North Korea noted for its’ scenic
beauty and popularity with tourists. This beautiful mountain has a different name in
each
season; this taryeong sings of its beauty
during the spring.
<b>NAMPO TARYEONG</b> 남포 타령
Nampo is a city and seaport located in North Korea, and the song
details a typical day in a fishing village.
<b>TARYEONG</b> 타령
This piece was not originally meant for singing, and is instead a lively dance piece.
