Performed in the first act of Giuseppe Verdi's (1813-1901) opera, LA TRAVIATA, this famous duet is sung by the characters Violetta and Alfredo Germont, the young man who loves her, at a late-night party. A brindisi (drinking song), "Libiamo ne' lieti calici" ("Let's drink from the joyful cups"), is begun by Alfredo after Violetta encourages him to show off his voice, then he is joined by Violetta and the rest of the chorus at the party. One of the most well-known melodies in opera, this excerpt is a popular performance choice for tenors. 주세페 베르디(1813-1901)의 오페라 라 트라비아타 1막에서 연주되는 이 유명한 이중창은 비올레타와 그녀를 사랑하는 젊은이 알프레도 제르몽이 늦은 밤 파티에서 부릅니다. 비올레타가 알프레도에게 목소리를 내라고 권하자 알프레도가 브린디시(술자리 노래)인 "Libiamo ne' lieti calici"("즐거운 잔으로 마시자")를 시작하고, 파티에서 비올레타와 나머지 합창단이 그와 합류합니다. 오페라에서 가장 잘 알려진 멜로디 중 하나인 이 발췌곡은 테너들이 자주 연주하는 곡입니다
