Leopold Auer Graded Course of Violin Playing - Vol.4 - Elementary, cont
Leopold Auer (1845-1930) was considered one of the most important pedagogues of the violin. Jascha Heifetz and many other famous violin virtuosos have studied with him. Auer composed the Graded Course of Violin Playing series to provide an outline of violin study which would differ in many respects from the instructive plan of existing methods of the old stereotyped pattern. Book 4 focuses on a system of scale and chord studies along with etudes and songs for the first position.
